Quaver

Quaver is a rythm-based game that got released on Steam in mid-2020. I still play this occasionally.

Gameplay

You need to match the song notes by helping with the music rythm. This game works the same as Friday Night Funkin', and you need to get the most accuracy to get a higher rank.

Thoughts

While the game is open-source, the fact being it community-driven makes it very dense for beginners (like me, Unbloated), therefore attempting to gain progress over this game is slower and sometimes mood breaking.

Vocabulary

• Multi-notes : 2 up to four notes in the same line. These are known to be hated by arrow keys players.
• Long notes : Note that needs to be held and released in a certain timing.
• 4K/7K : Number of keys used for a level (so 4 keys/7 keys), 7K is known to be mostly very satanic.
